The Roxy Cinema is typical of most small (Flea Pit) cinemas, which were built in the early 20th Century, in all parts of the UK. They can also be seen in many other countries around the world as an almost universal design.

Purple Bob's model is designed to a scale of 7mm to the foot and is perfect for use with “O” Gauge Model Railways. Or just to build for the fun of it.

The Roxy has a detailed interior which can be seen through the doors. The model also includes a large number of detailing options which are ALL included in the kit.

You can see from the close-up shot, the excellent level of detail that is easily achieved from Purple Bob's card models, with just a little time and patience.

It must be 1920 in this shot! Because Charlie Chaplin is in “Sunnyside” and “Dougie Fairbanks” is prancing around like a camp version of “Arnold Schwarzenegger” in “The Mark Of Zorro”, his first big action movie!.

You can make the “Roxy” fit any era your model is set in, just by changing posters and signage. All of which are included in the kit
